My name is Jazzmine, but I also answer to Jazz, Jazzy, and Miss Mod (my uncle gave me this nickname when I was a kid🤗💖). I’m from a small town in Canada and  I’ve been a little bit obsessed with DIYs, fashion and beauty for about as long as I can remember.  I definitely got that from my mama (and Grandmothers) if you ask me!😆 I watched Martha Stewart Living religiously with my mom, and helped her bake from my perch on the kitchen counter.  On any given visit to Grandms’s house, you would be able to find me playing dress-up in her walk-in closet or painting my face with her favourite bright purple Wet n’ Wild lipstick.  She had some great beauty tips and is the reason I am now addicted to coconut oil (just not on your face!).  When I wasn’t jamming to BET in my grandma’s high heels and costume jewellery, I was her sous chef! I loved watching my Grandma Hale in the kitchen cooking up some delicious Jamaican food, and learning how to cook with as much love as she did. (Btw my jerk chicken with rice and peas is almost as good as hers, she said so herself!)

I’ve always used fashion and makeup to express myself and how I’m feeling or how I want to feel.  I will also NEVER turn down a spa day😍. Nothing beats being pampered (even if it’s just by myself!) with facials and mani/pedis. Learning to transform my home and workspace into my own sacred space is also a hobby! I’m still working on mastering the KonMari method though LOL.  I’m a big believer in celebrating everything and I love me a good theme!!  Planning and hosting parties and gatherings is one of my favourite ways to spread the love.

I am a public relations professional, wedding & event planner, an aspiring entrepreneur, and a wannabe-Martha Stewart.🤩
